The Summer Teacher Institute will feature concurrent 90-minute dynamic, interactive and informative workshops—many of which can be used to meet requirements toward Minnesota licensure renewal. Lunch (included in institute fee) includes a keynote address.
Workshop session strands include but are not limited to:
- Positive Behavioral Intervention Strategies
- Accommodation, Modification and Adaptation of Curriculum, Materials and Instruction
- Reading Preparation
- Technology
Summer Teacher Institute Workshops are taught by Northwestern faculty and other subject matter experts.
Participants can also earn continuing education units (CEUs) and/or opt to receive 1–3 graduate credits. Contact Dr. Pamela Solvie at pasolvie@unwsp.edu for further information on credit options.
Your workshop registration fee includes four 90-minute workshop sessions and keynote session during lunch. We encourage you to browse the workshop listings below and plan your day to meet your educational and licensure goals. See institute flyer and schedule.
