Meet your Region 3 Director

Hello! My name is Dan Bungert, and I am the Region 3 director. This is a large area that covers the south metro down to Northfield and the east metro up to Stillwater. I have spent all 12 years of my teaching career at Rosemount High School in ISD 196, and my own K-12 education has been exclusively in Region 3, from early elementary school in Northfield to graduating from Lakeville South High School.

The most important thing that MCTM has taught me is the importance of being a reflective teacher. I constantly evaluate my instruction, content, pacing, and interaction with students to be the best educator I can be. This is one of the reasons the MCTM Spring Conference has been so powerful in shaping me as an educator. Attending the conference, in the midst of a busy spring near the end of a stressful school year, energizes me to finish out the year strong and see what things I can improve on for next year. I hope that as region director, I can share this experience with even more educators and support all of you on your own teaching journeys.
