MCTM Social Media Editor

The work of MCTM is supported by appointed statewide officers. MCTM is in search of a creative Social Media Editor to promote our activities. This is a stipend-paid position.

The Social Media Editor is a non-voting member of the MCTM Board. They work collaboratively with the Communications Editor to design graphics/announcements that are then posted to our website, Facebook, and Twitter. The Social Media Editor takes care of scheduling posts to both Twitter and Facebook. Along with the Communications Editor, the Social Media Editor maintains open communication among all of the Board committees to make sure that their work is appropriately communicated to our membership. In addition, the Social Media Editor writes articles for our monthly publication, MathBits, and reaches out to others to write articles as well.

The MCTM Social Media Editor should have an understanding of social media platforms, an eye for design, and a desire to engage with the Minnesota mathematics educator community.
