You’re Invited: Register Your Students for Math Masters – Fun, Encouraging and VIRTUAL

Now is the time to register your student teams and individual competitors for the 2021 Math Masters math competitions. Offered virtually for the first time in 2021, Math Masters provides a competition platform for students to solve math problems individually and in teams. The program supports students’ love of math, strengthens their math skills and teaches teamwork and cooperation – all in a fun competition environment. 

Our 2021 virtual competition format gives you the flexibility to compete when it’s convenient for you and your student competitors. Sixth grade competitions will take place March 1 – 31; fifth grade competitions will take place April 1 – 30. You and your team can choose your date and format (either meet in person or via live video call).

The competition test includes:

  • Fact Drill Round – 75 problems to be completed in 5 minutes
  • Four Individual Rounds  – 8 problems each round; rounds are 10 minutes each
  • Three Team Rounds – 10 problems each round; rounds are 15 minutes each
  • Practice Fact Drill Test so students and coaches can get comfortable with the competition format

Registration deadline is February 12. 

Fees are:

  • $85/team: 3-5 students competing in all test rounds (Fact Drill Round, 4 Individual Rounds, 3 Team Rounds) plus Practice Fact Drill
  • $35/individual: A single student who competes in the Fact Drill Round and 4 Individual Rounds but not the 3 Team Rounds; includes Practice Fact Drill
