Education: BS-Winona State University MA-Winona State University

Goals as MCTM Region 1 Director: I have been an educator for 30 years and I am continually striving to become better and more skilled. My goal as an officer in MCTM is to continue to grow the organization and to support our members. I want to continue to provide a network for educators to access one another and resources in order to grow professionally as teachers of mathematics.The multiple offerings for professional development, as well as the useful publications that our members have access to, support growth and learning. Our spring conference is second to none and I look forward to being a part of that while representing this region at the delegate assembly. I am proud of the work that the board and organizers of the spring conference are doing to move to a virtual format that I believe will continue to an excellent opportunity for growth and connections.
