Meet your Region 7 Director: Greta Bergman

Hello!  I’m Greta Bergman, and I am the new Region 7 Director for MCTM.  Region 7 is a large geographic region in the northwest part of Minnesota going from the North Dakota border east to where I teach in Royalton and from the Canadian border south past I-94.

I am currently in my 8th year of teaching, all of which have been at Royalton Public Schools. The past 5 years I have taught 6th and 8th grades, but prior to that I was teaching both middle school and high school, including Geometry and Algebra 2.  I never thought I would be teaching all middle school, but I absolutely love it! I love being part of students’ transition from elementary school to high school, and I enjoy helping students gain confidence in math and seeing students make connections between concepts.
