MCTM Foundation: November 2020 Update
MCTM will be hosting a virtual conference this spring. At this point, we are not sure of what the Foundation presence will be.
I so missed the Spring Conference in Duluth …. The chance to see old friends, the chance to mingle with other like-minded people, the chance to learn from other professionals, the chance to spend time in the city of Duluth. The Foundation has many boxes of books for the book sale, as well as several quilts to raffle off and some other chances to earn prizes … here is hoping that we can all see each other in Spring 2022.As of Spring 2019, the MCTM Foundation has awarded grants and scholarships to 112 teachers, totaling $44,184.50. March 31st Deadline – The Arnie Cutler Scholarship is available to licensed MN Middle School Teachers currently teaching mathematics in grades 6 to 8. Teachers must have 3 years of teaching experience and expect to continue teaching mathematics. The Scholarship provides up to $1,200 for coursework that improves a teacher’s understanding of the mathematical content that they teach.
