Connect Math Mixers 2019-20

Announcing CONNECT Math Mixers for this school year. 

  • September 26th (Davanni’s, Cleveland and Grand, St. Paul) – Sara Van Der Werf and May Vang will be leading a learning session from 5:30-6:30.
  • December 12th – TBA
  • February 6th – TBA

These Math Mixers are a way for you to connect with new/beginner teachers and reunite with your cohorts. It’s free to attend and free to bring others. Appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks are provided (pre-register so we can accommodate all attendees www.tinyurl.com/MathMixer). What’s new this year is a book exchange. Bring teaching or teaching-related books that you no longer need but found useful. Someone else may want it, and if they don’t, we will keep it until the next mixer or the spring CONNECT Night. 

Also, one more thing for this school year. We are looking to mentor a few teachers through group text messages. You can be of any level and live/teach anywhere in Minnesota. We will check in weekly with you as a group and message you as frequently with the group as you want throughout the school year.
