Newly Formed Equity Committee

Congratulations to the Equity Committee!

Barb Everhart and Lesa Clarkson are co-chairs of the newly formed Equity Committee for MCTM. They are looking for people to join the Committee!!  If interested, please contact barbara.s.everhart@gmail.com. Ideally, they are looking for: 2-3 math teachers, 1 math coach, and 1 higher education member, but ALL math educators are welcome. In addition, they will be having a Equity Hour gathering on Friday night of MCTM weekend, April 26th,7-8pm at Hoops Brewing, for those interested in learning more about the Committee and sharing ideas about equitable practices in math education. An additional meeting will be planned for June to solidify the committee and make future plans for the work.

Looking forward to working on everyday equity for everyone with math educators.
