Foundation Grant for MCTM Spring Conference

Are you planning to attend the 2019 Spring Conference? Learn from your MCTM colleagues about the newest and most effective methods in mathematics education.

Apply for a grant to help defray costs! The deadline for applying is February 1. Find the application form on the MCTM website.

Here is a comment from 2018 grant recipients sharing how the information from the conference will be used in their school.

“These resources, suggestions, and best practices will be used at our school through a book club this summer that we will run, where we’ll dig in with grade-level teams to effectively use class time building numeracy in such an impactful way. Additionally, I attended a session called, “Nix (Teaching) the Algorithm – Getting Colleagues on Board” that gave me a resource to use at a staff meeting, helping other teachers understand the importance of building understanding rather than teaching algorithms.”
