Math Lettering

I organized a professional development day this summer and had to make signs to point people in the right direction. As an overachiever, I had to make them mathy. So I stole an idea from Sara Vanderwerf’s blog, used Microsoft Publisher, and made some fun signs.
I had a lot of people ask where I got the letters, and I even had one disappear.
I continued to make signs for around my school and in my classroom.
This is outside the math help room and is used on any flyer going out to students about the opportunity.
I put this on a 2”x3” magnet to remind myself to keep asking “What do you Notice”.
With some encouragement from Sara, I have now made the entire alphabet. The picture below is a link to the document made in Publisher. You can change the color to whatever you would like.
Love this alphabet!
