Purpose: MN Math Leaders is a Standing Committee of MCTM that works with supporting mathematics education leaders. MCTM is an affiliate of NCSM https://www.mathedleadership.org/ and the MN Math Leaders is our link in Minnesota to that national organization.

Overview:
The Minnesota Mathematics Leaders shall:
1. Provide a network to discuss issues unique to mathematics education leaders at all levels.
2. Promote the teaching and learning of high quality mathematics for all students by supporting leaders in addressing the issues related to leadership positions.
3. Serve as a resource and advise the Board of Directors on matters pertaining to leaders in mathematics education school, district, regional, state, and national levels.

When does the committee meet?

MN Math Leaders provides several opportunities for both professional learning and networking with other mathematics education leaders.
